The Palestinian resistance fighters have trapped an armored Zionist force in a tight ambush in the east of Khan Yunis, after crossing several meters into the temporary fence, Hamas’ armed wing, the Izz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement on Sunday.
“The resistance fighters engaged in clashes with the Zionist infiltrating force, destroying two bulldozers and a tank, and forcing them to withdraw. Our fighters safely returned to their bases,” the statement read.
“The soldiers of the Zionist force who fell into the Khan Younis ambush left their vehicles and fled east of the temporary fence on foot,” the statement affirmed.
On the other hand, the Israeli media reports stated that four 4 soldiers were injured, one critically, in clashes near Kissufim in the Eshkol compound, east of Khan Yunis.
