Nine Egyptian soldiers injured in Israeli shelling

At least nine Egyptian soldiers were injured on Sunday in an Israeli enemy bombing that targeted the Egyptian side of the Rafah border crossing.

Egypt’s media outlets reported that the “Israeli” bombing targeted a site belonging to the Egyptian forces in the “Kerem Abu Salem” area, near the Rafah border crossing in Egyptian territory.

Military experts indicated that the strike occurred intentionally, as Israeli tanks are designed to fire missiles accurately and cannot be mistaken.

It is expected that the bombing would provoke angry reactions from the Egyptian armed forces and the Egyptian people in response to the aggression of the Israeli occupation forces, while the Israeli army spokesman tried to mitigate the incident by claiming that the bombing came by mistake.
