Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms, in cooperation with 255 organizations and networks whose membership includes more than 1,300 human rights organizations, called on the International Court of Justice to issue an urgent order obligating the Zionist entity to stop its crimes in the Gaza Strip.
The organizations affirmed in a statement that “Every aggression launched by the Zionist occupation is facilitated and with the complicity of the leaders of the global imperialist centre, led by the leaders of the United States and the United Kingdom.”
The leaders, soldiers and settlers of the occupation and apartheid do not hesitate to commit war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Palestinian people and the residents of the Gaza Strip, which amount to genocide, the statement added.
The statement considered the Baptist Hospital crime as one of those systematic and carefully planned crimes.
The organizations warned of the danger of continuing to cut off electricity and prevent the entry of fuel, causing hospitals to stop working, especially care rooms, oxygen generation and dialysis centers, as well as ambulances and civil defense vehicles stopping to provide their services.
The statement explained that 42% of Gaza’s housing had been completely demolished or partially damaged, and the number of displaced people who were forcibly removed from their homes reached 1,600,000, noting that “If rain falls, it will lead to additional disasters, forming an advanced episode of genocide.”
The organizations’ statement called for the need for any of the states parties to the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide of 1948, especially the Arab and Islamic states, to take the initiative to request the International Court of Justice to issue an urgent order requiring the occupation entity to stop its criminal activities in the Gaza Strip.
The statement also called for countries to take action against the occupying entity and those who colluded with it or facilitated the commission of genocide crimes in the Gaza Strip, including an economic boycott of the entity and severing diplomatic relations with it.
