Hamas forces release details on highly successful Al-Yassin 105mm anti-tank shell

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic resistance movement Hamas, released on Friday a video of information on the 105mm anti-tank shell named ‘Al-Yassin’, which can successfully destroy armoured vehicles and tanks of the Zionist enemy.

Hamas confirmed in the video that the Al-Yassin anti-tank shell was designed by the Al-Qassam Brigades in Gaza, and has a high destructive capacity.

It entered service during the of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation.

The released video shows the 105/64 mm shell as weighing 4.5 kg and being fired by an RPG, with an effective range of 100 meters and a destructive range of 150 meters.

The Al-Qassam Brigades pointed out that the warhead of the Al-Yassin 105mm works to remove the cold shield and then penetrate the steel iron of the mechanism up to a depth of 60 cm, and destroy it.

In a related context, Hamas announced, earlier on Friday evening that its fighters targeted a Zionist troop carrier in the axis northwest of Gaza City, mere hours after the destruction of two vehicles in the same area with Al-Yassin 105 shells.

For its part, the Zionist occupation army admitted that two more soldiers were killed during the battles in Gaza, and a third was wounded, bringing the officially admitted Zionist soldier casualties to 341. The real number is most likely far higher.
