Yemen’s military media released on Wednesday scenes of the shooting down of the American MQ9 drone by the Yemeni air defences, which was flying over the airspace of Yemen’s territorial waters, in a flagrant violation of the country’s sovereignty.
The video showed that the drone was targeted with a suitable weapon while carrying out hostile and surveillance activities in the airspace of Yemeni territorial waters.

Earlier in the day, a spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, said in a news statement that the air defences downed the aircraft, while it was carrying out hostile and surveillance activities in the airspace of Yemeni territorial waters, within the framework of American military support for the Israeli entity.
