The health authorities in the city of Aden, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalition, revealed a health disaster due to the spread of cholera disease and the high number of cases in several areas of the city.
The city’s health office confirmed in a document issued on Saturday that it prevented cholera cases from entering all Aden hospitals and transferred them to the isolation center at Al-Sadaqa Teaching Hospital in Sheikh Othman district, which lacks basic health services.
The document issued by the Health Office confirmed that cholera cases are increasing according to preliminary statistics, without mentioning the number of confirmed cases, amid great neglect of the cases without providing them with any care or attention.
The city’s health facilities are experiencing a catastrophic collapse due to the economic downturn, causing citizens’ living conditions to worsen without access to basic treatments.
