Dirar Ben Saadallah begins match with "Freedom Dance" in solidarity with Palestinians

After becoming a symbol of solidarity with the Palestinian people in confrontation with “Israel”, the “Freedom Dance” recently entered the football stadiums.

Dirar Ben Saadallah, the Algerian football player of Jordan’s Ma’an Sports Club, started the game with his liberation dance in imitation of MC football star Youssef Belaili.

On the pitch of the match, MC Alger vs JS Saoura in the Algerian football championship, Algerian star Youssef Belaili had celebrated his goal with the Freedom Dance, carrying the Palestinian flag, in a shot that was the match’s highlight.

The “dance of the earth,” as social media users call it, has become a popular expression of support for the people of Gaza and has been used in several fields.

It was performed by a young Palestinian during clashes with Israeli forces five years ago.

In conjunction with the events in Gaza, activists on social media reposted the video showing the young Palestinian dancing with clips from other songs, while others tried to imitate the dance as well, many people said the dance is the same as the indigenous people of America.
