On Sunday, despite the rainy weather, hundreds of people gathered in the Dutch capital Amsterdam, calling for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
The demonstration, which started from Dam Square, in Amsterdam, marched towards Museum Square.
Ahead of the march to Museum Square, speeches were delivered at Dam Square. Speakers criticized the Dutch government’s failure to call for a ceasefire despite Israeli attacks on Gaza.
The protesters demanded a permanent ceasefire, chanting slogans in Arabic and English “cease fire now”, “Free Palestine” and “Free Palestine from the river to the sea”.
They also held up banners with the phrases “Stop the genocide in Gaza,” “No to the occupation,” and “Netanyahu is a murderer.”
