Mohammed al-Houthi: US has no right to the Red Sea

Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, said on Monday that the Americans do not have a right to the Red Sea.

“America does not accept any military presence of China, Russia, or others in the territorial waters near Florida,” Al-Houthi said in his post on the X platform.

Al-Houthi added that Sana’a may study the issue of accepting the idea of the legitimacy of America’s presence in the international waters of the Red Sea, only by referring it to a popular referendum if Washington accepts and acknowledges the legitimacy of North Korean submarines or modern Chinese aircraft carriers remaining near Florida in international waters.”
