“The Naval Forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces, with the help of God Almighty, carried out an operation against a commercial ship, “MSC UNITED,” with appropriate naval missiles,” Spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces in Sana’a, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e said in a statement on Tuesday.
The attack on the ship came after its crew refused, for the third time, calls from the naval forces as well as repeated fiery warning messages, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e explained.
In the statement issued this evening, Sare’e confirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces’ Air Force also carried out a military operation against Zionist military targets in the Umm al-Rashrash area and other areas in occupied Palestine with a number of drones, in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people who continue to face death, destruction, siege, and starvation.
“The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm their continued support and support of the Palestinian people as part of their religious, moral and humanitarian duty,” he stated.
The military spokesman concluded his statement by saying, “The Yemeni armed forces confirm the continuation of their operations in the Red and Arab Seas against Zionist ships or those heading to the ports of occupied Palestine until the entry of the food and medicine needed by the Gaza Strip.”
