Qatar announces brokering deal to allow medicine, aid into Gaza

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Qatari mediation has successfully brokered an agreement between the Israeli Occupation and Hamas to allow the entry of medicines and aid into the Gaza Strip.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Qatari Foreign Ministry added that the agreement includes the entry of medicines and aid for civilians in exchange for delivering needed medications to the captives held in Gaza.

The White House stated earlier that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) has transitioned to a less intense phase in its military operations in the Strip.

The White House added that the US is preparing to increase humanitarian assistance to Gaza and identify suitable conditions for the return of residents to north Gaza.

The statement highlighted that the US is engaged in “very serious discussions” in Qatar regarding the possibility of concluding a new prisoner exchange deal.
