Tunisian General Labour Union condemns aggression against Yemen

Secretary General of the Tunisian General Labour Union, Noureddine Taboubi, condemned on Saturday the aggression of some Western countries against Yemen and the laws they enacted to hinder solidarity with the Palestinian people.

In his speech during the celebration the 78th anniversary of the Union founding, Al-Taboubi denounced the shameful position of the Arab League and the collusion of some Arab regimes with the Zionist entity.

He stressed the necessity of continuing the outpouring of international solidarity in support of the Palestinian people and denouncing the aggression against Gaza.

Taboubi said, “This war aims to eliminate resistance and the ideology that opposes the liquidation of the Palestinian cause and reach normalization with the enemy entity, Israel.”

He paid tribute and expressed appreciation to the State of South Africa, which took the initiative to file a lawsuit with the International Court of Justice to condemn the Israeli entity for genocide.

Taboubi called for continuing the effort in Tunisia and intensifying it in support of Gaza until victory is achieved and stolen rights are restored.

Since the beginning of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, Tunisia has witnessed massive popular demonstrations in front of the American embassy in Tunisia and other places. These demonstrations came in support of Gaza and its resistance and in condemnation of the ongoing US-backed Israeli aggression.
