The investigative report published by the BBC channel on Tuesday sparked angry reactions among the Yemeni people towards the terrorist assassinations carried out by the UAE during the past years in the city of Aden, southern Yemen.
The investigation revealed the role of the UAE government and Counselor Muhammad Dahlan, “former head of the Palestinian Preventive Security Service,” in bringing in an Israeli contractor and mercenaries from the American “Spear” company who were hired by the UAE to carry out assassinations in Aden, and one of the mercenaries confessed to carrying out 40 assassinations alone.
Head of “the Southern Civil Forces Gathering,” Abdulkarim Al-Saadi, called for the start of extensive action to conduct investigations with all parties touched upon by the channel’s investigation and to thoroughly research the facts and evidence it covered.
Al-Saadai called on human rights organizations concerned with human rights, all responsible parties, and the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition to determine their position on the regional party that pushed mercenaries to carry out the assassinations against Yemeni citizens.
Yemeni activists on social media demanded that a lawsuit be filed against the UAE before the International Court of Justice. They considered the crimes and assassinations committed by the UAE against the Yemeni people to be a scandal of great caliber that is shameful following the publication of the film broadcast by the BBC about the role of the UAE in assassinations in Yemen.
