Yemeni Speaker of Parliament, Yahya Al-Rae’e, received a message of gratitude and solidarity from Irish Member of the European Parliament, Clare Daly, expressing her appreciation for the contents of the message from the Speaker, the Presidency, and members of the Yemeni Parliament.
Daly expressed her dismay upon learning that Yemen was once again a victim of unjustified and illegal acts of aggression by the United States and Britain, with regrettable support from Australia, Bahrain, Canada, and the Netherlands.
She also expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people and the suffering of the people of Gaza, affirming her support for the Yemeni people who have endured immense hardships for many years.
The European Parliament member stated, “While Western governments openly betray the common values of humanity by supporting genocide, free people are defending the values of justice and freedom.”
She added, “It is inspiring to see a people who have suffered more than a decade of imperial aggression and one of the worst humanitarian disasters in modern history standing strong, united, and committed to defending the rights of another people in need of support.”
Daly sent her warm greetings and appreciation to all the people of Yemen, expressing her solidarity and support for the Yemeni people. In her message, she emphasized that despite the protests of Western leaders, people throughout Europe and the wider West share a deep disgust for the actions of Israel and loudly denounce the complicity of their governments. She spoke on behalf of herself and many freedom-loving individuals around the world.
She reaffirmed her commitment to the common struggle for international justice, peace, and the liberation of all oppressed peoples.
On January 8, Yemeni Parliament Speaker, Yahya Al-Rae’e dispatched messages to various parliamentary leaders worldwide, delineating Yemen’s stance concerning US activities. The missives cautioned against aligning with robust American and British endeavors that pose threats to international navigation, aim to militarize the Red Sea, and endanger regional security, serving the interests of the Israeli occupying entity.
The messages affirmed the right of Yemenis and Arabs to stand in solidarity with Palestinians enduring racial extermination, genocide, and comprehensive sieges enforced by the Zionist occupying entity, backed by the United States, Britain, and other European nations.
These messages constitute Yemen’s efforts to clarify its stance on American and British activities in the Red Sea, emphasizing its unequivocal rejection of these actions and its commitment to take necessary measures.
