Shura Council of Yemen warns for US colonial plots in the region

The main committee of the Shura Council in Sana’a, the upper house of Yemen’s parliament, warned regional and local powers against engaging in suspicious movements through which the US-British enemy seeks to mobilise mercenaries and agents on the Yemeni border to serve its colonial purposes.

In its meeting on Wednesday, headed by the Council Speaker, Muhammad Hussein Al-Aidaroos, the committee renewed its rejection of the policy of the American-British coalition that misleads the truth about what is happening in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea and the continuation of its terrorist aggression against Yemeni cities.

The committee pointed out that “the American enemy and its allies are blackmailing and pirating ships in territorial waters in an attempt to blame Yemen, in order to incite world public opinion against what we are doing to support the oppressed Palestinian people.”

In its meeting, the Shura main committee noted that the American actions outside the framework of international law confirm beyond a doubt that it is the maker of terrorism and chaos in the world and threatens international navigation in the service of the Zionist entity.

The committee reaffirmed Yemeni keenness on the security of international navigation and trade, and said that the Yemeni operations only target ships of the Zionist entity or those heading to occupied ports.
