The Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, Ziad al-Nakhalah, confirmed on Tuesday that the movement will not engage in any understandings without ensuring a comprehensive ceasefire.
In a press statement on Tuesday, Al-Nakhal stressed the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement’s firm position “that it will not engage in any understandings without ensuring a comprehensive ceasefire, the withdrawal of the Zionist enemy forces, reconstruction, and a clear political solution that guarantees the rights of the Palestinian people.”
Al-Nakhalah’s statement came in response to what was being circulated in the media about the initiatives undertaken by the American administration regarding the Zionist prisoners and their release.
