Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi vows further escalation if aggression against Gaza is not stopped

The leader of the Ansarallah movement, Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, vowed to escalate further against the United States of America, Great Britain and “Israel” if the aggression against the Gaza Strip continues.

The comments were made during a televised speech aired this evening on the 20th anniversary of the assassination of Ansarullah founder Sayyid Hussein al-Houthi.

Martyr Sayyid Hussein al-Houthi was killed by the Yemeni police commanded by then-President Ali Abdullah Saleh on September 10, 2004, which corresponds to Rajab 26, 1425 on the Hijri calendar.

Tuesday, February 6, 2024, (Rajab 26, 1445 HQ) marks the twentieth anniversary of martyred Sayyed Hussein al-Houthi’s assassination by Islamic calendar calculation.

Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi addressed a multitude of issues, detailing the historical struggle of the late martyr and leader, as well as Ansarullah’s courageous stance against American hegemony in the region.

“Sayyid Hussein presented practical Quranic solutions that elevate nation to confront its enemies, stand against their conspiracies. Along with chanting slogans, he initiated boycott of American, Israeli goods, which holds significant importance in economic confrontation,” Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said, adding that “Ansarullah’s slogan came to fortify nation against submission, loyalty to its enemies, to elevate it psychologically, intellectually, preparing it for greater challenges.”

Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi affirmed Yemen’s steadfastness in “its principled Quranic position in supporting the Palestinian people and confronting the aggression against Yemen.”

He added that the Yemeni people would continue all their activities within the framework of their right and honorable position regarding military and general mobilisation.

“Whatever the evil trio does, it will not affect our position, will not limit our capabilities and operations, God willing, and will not break the will of our people,” he said.

Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi pointed out that America is trying to camouflage its movement at sea.

He concluded by saying, “I warn them and say that they must stop their aggression against Gaza and stop their siege; otherwise, we will seek to escalate more and more.”
