Thousands demonstrate in Amman in support of Gaza

Thousands of Jordanians demonstrated in the center of the Jordanian capital, Amman, after Friday prayers, denouncing the continued Zionist-US aggression against the Gaza Strip.

The demonstration was held under the slogan, “From Al-Aqsa to Gaza, let’s break the siege.” The participants explained that the Zionist aggression against Gaza would not have continued without the blessing of the United States and its president, Joe Biden, who declared his clear and explicit support for the crimes committed by the Zionist occupation against the Gaza Strip.

The participants in the rally, which was called for by the Islamic Movement and the National Forum to Support the Resistance and Protect Jordan, demanded the opening of the borders with occupied Palestine in order to support the resistance fighters and their steadfastness.

They pointed out that the international community is deaf, applies double standards, does not pay attention to the basic rights of the Palestinian people, and views the aggression with blessing and silence.

The demonstrators stressed the need for the Jordanian government to take strong measures against the crimes taking place in Gaza. They also called for the immediate cessation of all forms of relations with the Zionist enemy, including the Wadi Araba Agreement Treaty and the gas and water agreements.
