Hamas details demands for ceasefire agreement

Hamas leader Osama Hamdan affirmed that the movement’s stance is to side with the interests of the Palestinian people.

“Our proposal emphasizes ending the aggression, the enemy’s withdrawal, and the start of relief operations. The occupation tries to shift focus to the prisoners’ issue to circumvent the matter of ending the aggression,” Osama Hamdan to Al-Jazeera

Hamdan pointed out that Hamas’s negotiation paper is realistic and has shown high flexibility, stressing that the “Israeli” side sees no realistic proposal other than the removal of the Palestinian people.
“We proposed guarantor states for the agreement in addition to mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and the United States,” he said.

Hamdan affirmed that the occupation reveals its true intentions with the operation in Rafah, which is to carry out a genocide.

He added, “The day after the Gaza battle is distinctively Palestinian, and it is not permissible for the occupation or its sponsors to tamper with it.

Hamadan confirmed that “ the group is making every possible effort and negotiating with all parties to prevent an attack on Rafah.”
