Egyptians protest in Cairo in support of besieged Gazans

On Monday, dozens of Egyptians organized a protest in front of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Cairo Governorate in support of the Gaza Strip and to demand the escort of relief vehicles and entry into the Gaza Strip.

The participants in the protest chanted slogans, including “Send us to die with them… You want us to forget them,” and raised the Palestinian flag.

Video clips circulated on social media platforms showed the participation of a number of public figures, including Hamdeen Sabahi, the former presidential candidate, and Mona Mina, the former Secretary-General of the Medical Syndicate.

Hamdeen Sabahi posted a video clip on the X platform and wrote: “Those demanding entry into Gaza stand at their own risk, bringing relief supplies in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the Nile Corniche.”
