United Nations Security Council statement on Red Sea attack “holds no value”, Yemeni diplomat says

Member of the National Delegation, Abdul-Malik Al-Ajri, affirmed that the recent statement by the Security Council regarding the Yemeni army’s operations against ships heading to “Israel” holds no value.

Al-Ajri stated in a post on X that “the Security Council, unable to stop the massacre in Gaza and enforce international law on Israel, has no right to demand that others respect international law.”

On Monday, the members of the Security Council issued a statement, condemning in the strongest terms what they called “Houthi attacks” against commercial vessels in the Red Sea.
