Canada to stop selling arms to "Israel"

Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie announced on Tuesday that her country would ban arms sales to the Zionist entity.

This came after the Canadian Parliament voted by 204 votes to 117 in favor of a non-binding proposal to stop arms sales after a long debate.

In a statement to the local newspaper “Toronto Star”, Jolie said: “It is a real decision. The original proposal was to suspend arms sales, but that was changed to a complete ban.”

The proposal also included a clause calling for support for “the establishment of the State of Palestine” in coordination with Canada’s international partners.

Canada had previously imposed a temporary suspension on export permits for military goods and technology to Israel.
