Hezbollah offers condolences to Haniyeh on martyrdom of sons, grandsons

Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem held a phone call in behalf of Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah with Hamas politburo chief Esmail Haniyeh in order to offer him condolences on the martyrdom of his sons and grandsons.

According to a statement issued by Hezbollah Media Relations Department, Sheikh Qassem offered condolences to Haniyeh, his noble family, Hamas leadership, Gaza locals and all the Palestinian people on the martyrdom of his three sons and a number of his grandsons in a crime committed by the Zionist enemy.

Sheikh Qassem asked God Almighty that these sacrifices lead to the victory of the Gaza people and resistance, entire Palestine, and the whole Umma, the statement mentioned.

Israeli occupation forces targeted a car in the Al-Shati refugee camp in Gaza City, killing three sons of Hamas leader Haniyeh. The incident occurred on the day of Eid al-Fitr, a Muslim holiday marking the end of Ramadan, when families come together to celebrate.

The three sons, identified as Hazem, Amir, and Mohammad, along with several of Haniyeh’s grandchildren, were martyred in the strike. Among the children who lost their lives were Amal, Khaled, and Razan. Haniyeh, who is currently leading Hamas’ Political Bureau from Doha, Qatar, received the devastating news with great resilience.
