Hamas denies Saudi reports that some of its leadership is moving to Cairo

The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, denied reports published by Al-Arabiya Saudi Channel, in which it states that the group agreed on the departure of some of its leaders from Gaza to Cairo.

“We deny what Al-Arabiya channel reported, quoting sources to AWP, that the second stage of the ceasefire deal might witness the departure of some Hamas leaders from Gaza to Cairo,” Hamas spokesperson, Jihad Taha, said in a statement.

He added: “There is no truth to these reports; they are false and fabricated with the aim of causing confusion.”

Taha continued: “Hamas leaders remain in their land with their people in the Gaza Strip, and the one who will leave is the Nazi occupation.”
