The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sana’a government, Hisham Sharaf, expressed on Sunday the government’s appreciation for the position of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria towards the Palestinian issue, which has been rooted for decades.
The Foreign Minister explained in a letter to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Ahmed Attaf, that the position of Algeria towards the Palestinian issue “confirms its constant keenness for this issue to be strongly present in all international forums.”
He praised Algeria’s courageous stance towards the Palestinian issue and what the Palestinian people have been exposed to for more than seven decades, especially through its temporary membership in the Security Council.
Sharaf reiterated that “all commercial ships sail safely in the Arabian Sea, Red Sea,and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, with the exception of those owned by the Zionist enemy entity or those heading to occupied Palestinian ports.”
He stated that “prevention and escalation are linked to ending the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip and the entry of humanitarian aid, medicine, and fuel to the residents of the Strip, without conditions.”
