Red Cross thanks Yemen for allowing check-up on imprisoned crew of Israeli ship

A team from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has expressed its thanks and appreciation to the Sana’a authorities for facilitating the team tasks by visiting the crew of the Israeli ship “Galaxy Leader” to check on their conditions.

This came during the team’s visit on Sunday to the crew of the ship held in the Red Sea.

The ICRC team explained that it met with the ship crew members and got acquainted with their conditions, indicating that the visit comes within the framework of its humanitarian missions to learn about the conditions and circumstances of the detainees.

The team said that the ship’s crew confirmed that they were receiving good care and treatment, that they communicated with their families via video, and that they hoped to stop the war on Gaza Strip in order to release them.
