Mahrah protest movement affirms rejection of foreign intervention

The people of Mahrah province have reaffirmed their strong rejection of foreign presence in the province, where forces belonging to Saudi-led coalition aggression are stationed in its capital, Al-Ghaydah.

A statement issued by the Free People of Mahrah, affirming that the freedom and independence of Mahrah province are a red line, and they will not accept any foreign presence that affects the dignity of the land and its people.

“The resistance from the freemen of Mahrah continues their movement until the liberation of Mahrah and our entire national territory from any occupying force, and  the popular will shall remain steadfast against all attempts of external intervention and hegemony,” the statement  read.

Since the occupation of the southern regions by the American-Saudi-Emirati coalition Mahrah has witnessed numerous events opposing the occupation and aggression as well as rejecting any foreign presence on its lands.
