National Salvation Government: Security preparations for reopening of key road to Ma’rib are complete

The National Salvation Government in Sana’a announced, through the official field committees and mediation committees in charge of opening the roads, the completion of all necessary security arrangements to open the Bayda Al-Juba road to the city of Ma’rib.

The Governor of Ma’rib in the government, Ali Tuaiman, confirmed during a visit to the Al-A’rif Al-Falaj point leading to the city of Ma’rib, along with the military and security committee charged with opening the roads, that the road has become completely passable for travelers after it was cleaned of war remnants and the removal of dirt barriers.

Governor Tua’iman called on the other party to bear responsibility for alleviating the suffering of travelers and to adhere to what they announced by accepting the previous initiative to open the road and remove mines and dirt barriers on the roads under their control.

He praised the efforts of the field committee to secure the road and implement the necessary procedures to ensure the protection of travelers and maintain their safety.

In turn, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni News Agency, Saba, Editor-in-Chief, Nasr al-Din Amer, explained that the visit to al-Airf al-Falaj came to review the final arrangements for opening the road to passenger traffic.

Amer pointed out that the road was now open for everyone to pass, starting Tuesday afternoon.

He stressed that opening the road comes based on the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the head of the Supreme Political Council as a humanitarian initiative to alleviate the suffering of citizens.
