The head of the National Negotiating Delegation, Mohammed Abdulsalam, has confirmed that joint operations rooms have been established to support Gaza in the Al-Aqsa Storm operation.
In a statement to Al-Mayadeen channel on Thursday, Abdulsalam noted that the operation proved that there is a genuine Axis of Resistance that speaks and acts, a real Axis that rises and moves when necessary.
“The Yemeni operation has achieved an important goal by eliminating the abhorrent sectarianism,” he stated. “The Yemeni stance came to embody the true meaning of prioritizing the Palestinian cause over our own difficult situation.”
Abdulsalam emphasized that Yemen serves as a testament against other regimes that have economic sanctions and other means at their disposal but have not acted.
“The Yemeni people have made a clear and explicit stance in support of Gaza, and the operation has achieved its objectives on all levels,” Abdul-Salam said.
Abduslam highlighted Yemen’s advancing capabilities, noting that Western generals are alarmed by Yemen’s effective operations, which demonstrate significant technical and qualitative military development despite the siege and targeting.
He explained that Yemen’s production of drones and ballistic missiles has become highly advanced, with continuous efforts to develop and expand capabilities in line with the ongoing battle.
Regarding the US-British aggression on Yemen, he clarified that the American and British military operations were intended to protect “Israel” and not to stabilize Yemen.
He mentioned that the targets struck in recent aggression had been hit multiple times during the US-Saudi aggression, predicting their failure in Yemen, similar to their failure in Gaza.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the agreement with Saudi Arabia has been frozen since the start of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation, warning Saudi Arabia against re-escalating its attacks on Yemen or re-launching a siege that the kingdom used to be employing against the country, speculating that Riyadh could do so as means of “serving Israel.”
He added that Washington is trying to drag Saudi Arabia into a conflict that would distract Yemen from supporting Gaza.
