Protest march held in Canadian city of Vancouver in solidarity with Palestine

Several human rights, humanitarian and trade union organizations in the Canadian city of Vancouver, led by the “Palestinian Samidoun Network” and the “Revolutionary Alternative Path Movement,” organized on Sunday a march in solidarity with the Palestinian and Yemeni peoples.

Thousands of Canadians partook in a mass student union march, starting in front of Vancouver City Hall and proceeding to downtown Vancouver, passing through the famous Cambie Bridge, which overlooks the city of Vancouver and its suburbs.

The marchers called for an end to the criminal attacks and killings against the Palestinian people and the medical staff working in Palestine, and also to stop targeting hospitals and medical centers in the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian, Yemeni, Iraqi and Lebanese flags were raised during the march, and the demonstrators chanted slogans of support for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and for the Yemeni armed forces for their humanitarian support with the Palestinian people to break the unjust siege on the Strip.
