Ansarullah official spokesman and head of the national negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdulsalam has met with the Special Envoy of the Russian President to the Middle East and Africa, Mr. Mikhail Bogdanov.
During the meeting, we discussed the ongoing “Israeli” aggression on Gaza and the need to work towards stopping the aggression on Palestine and halting the American-British aggression on Yemen, Mohammed Abdulsalam said in a post on telegram channel.
He added, ” We addressed the Red Sea operations, clarifying that they do not pose a threat to international navigation or target anyone, but are rather support operations for the Palestinian people and a response to the American-British airstrikes on Yemen”
“We emphasized the importance of Russia’s understanding of Yemen’s supportive stance towards Palestine and thanked Russia for its opposition to the American-British aggression on Yemen and its support for humanitarian and political efforts in our country.”
The two sides also reviewed the outcomes of the de-escalation situation between Yemen and the aggressor countries and the necessity of reaching a comprehensive solution that ensures Yemen’s unity and sovereignty.
Abdulsalam concluded his post by saying: ” We conveyed the leadership’s greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin.”
