Six killed, 83 wounded in Israeli strikes on Hodeidah

The death toll from “Israeli” aggression on Hodeidah province in western Yemen, has risen to six people and 83 wounded, the country’s ministry of health said on Sunday.

The Ministry’s spokesperson, Dr. Anis Al-Asbahi, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that six civilians were martyred, and 83 were injured, most of them suffered serious injuries.

Additionally, three others are still missing.

In a statement, the ministry strongly condemned the Israeli aggression against civilian targets and service and economic facilities.

The statement affirmed that this aggression was carried out in cooperation with the United States and complicity of some Arab countries that betrayed the Palestinian cause and opened their airspace to the Zionist aircraft to carry out its cowardly strikes on Yemen.

The statement highlighted that the Yemeni people, who have endured years of aggression and siege, cannot be defeated and will continue their struggle and resistance without retreat.

On Saturday, Israeli enemy aircraft launched a series of raids on the province.

Security sources in the province reported that the hostile raids targeted oil storage facilities and a power plant in the province, igniting an enormous fire in the area.
