Supreme Political Council condemns Israel's bombing of civilian targets in Hodeidah

The Supreme Political Council in Sana’a condemned the brutal Israeli aggression against civilian objects in Hodeidah province on Saturday, which targeted the power station and the station’s diesel fuel tanks.

The Political Council stressed in a statement that “this aggression will not pass without an effective response.”

The statement pointed out that this brutal Zionist aggression aimed at increasing the suffering of the Yemeni people and dissuading the Republic of Yemen from its positions of support for the Palestinian people and their just and right cause.

“Our position in supporting and defending the oppressed Palestinian people is principled, faith-based, and religious, and we will not stop or retreat,” the council affirmed.

The Political Council noted that the Israeli aggression would only serve as motivation for the Yemeni armed forces to rise to face the challenge until the promised victory and conquest are achieved.

In its statement, the Council called on all countries, bodies, organizations, and people of the world to condemn this brutal aggression against the Republic of Yemen.

The Council urged the Yemeni people to continue mobilization activities against the Israeli and American aggression on the country and be ready for all options that this stage may require in support of the Palestinian people and in defense of Yemen and its gains.
