Yemenia Airways resumes flights from Sana'a to Jordan

The administration of Yemenia Airways, announced the resumption of flights from Sana’a International Airport to Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan, starting on Thursday, with three daily flights.

In a statement, the Yemenia Airways said that flights between Sana’a and Amman have been scheduled and will operate three times daily, in compliance with the agreement reached between Sana’a and Riyadh.

The statement praised the efforts of the revolutionary and political leadership in reopening Sana’a International Airport for important destinations that will alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.

It noted the commencement of sales for discounted tickets across various classes through the Yemenia Airways’ offices and travel agencies in the capital, Sana’a, starting on Wednesday.

The Yemenia Airways also mentioned that services to Egypt and India are currently being arranged, with announcements expected soon after technical arrangements are completed.

On Tuesday, Yemen and Saudi Arabia agreed to address humanitarian and economic issues.

The agreement includes the cancellation of recent decisions and measures against banks by both sides, as well as a commitment to refrain from similar actions in the future.

The agreement confirmed the resumption of Yemenia flights from Sanaa Airport to Jordan (three flights daily), as well as daily flights to Cairo and India.
