Tens of thousands of people have convened in the Qatari capital of Doha to hold a funeral prayer for Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh who was assassinated by the “Israeli” entity two days earlier.
The funeral prayer was attended by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, his father, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as official delegations and leaders from Hamas and Palestinian factions.
On Thursday afternoon, the bodies of Ismail Haniyeh and his bodyguard, the martyr Wassim Abu Shaaban, arrived in Qatar’s capital, Doha.
The coffins of the two martyrs were received in Doha by a number of Hamas leaders, in addition to members of Haniyeh’s family.
