Two resistance fighters from the Al-Qassam Brigades were killed on Saturday evening in an Israeli drone strike in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin.
According to Palestinian sources, an Israeli drone struck the vehicle at the al-Bateekhah roundabout in Jenin, hitting it directly and causing it to catch fire, resulting in the martyrdom of those inside.
The Health Ministry confirmed that the bodies of at least two people killed in the drone strike arrived at the Jenin Government Hospital.
The ministry identified the martyrs as Raafat Mahmoud Dawasi (28 years old) from Silat al-Harithiya and Ahmed Walid Abu Ora (32 years old) from Aqaba.
Meanwhile, The Israeli military claimed that it targeted a Palestinian resistance cell at the al-Bateekhah roundabout in central Jenin.
“The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, mourned the martyrs, commanders Raafat Dawasi and Ahmed Abu Ora from Jenin, who were killed in an Israeli assassination operation in Jenin.”
