The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Sana’a Government, Jamal Amer, confirmed on Sunday Sanaa’s intention to enhance cooperation with the United Nations agencies and international organizations operating in Yemen and to provide all facilities for their work.
This came during his meeting in Sanaa with UNICEF’s Resident Representative, Peter Ho Kenz.
Amer stressed that the international organizations should consider the social and cultural privacy of the Yemeni people in the projects they implement in the country.
For his part, the UNICEF resident representative presented a report on the UN organization’s most important works in Yemen, especially in the areas of health, education, and social protection for children and women.
