Human Rights Organization says Israel's systematic targeting of aid workers is exacerbating humanitarian crisis in Gaza

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor confirmed on Saturday that the systematic “Zionist” targeting of relief workers in Gaza, the latest of whom are contracted with “ANERA,” undermines the provision of life-saving aid and exacerbates the catastrophic humanitarian crisis.

The Euro-Med monitor said in a press statement: “Israel deliberately launches attacks against humanitarian workers, whether Palestinian citizens or foreigners, over the course of the months of genocidal war on Gaza and killed more than 300 relief workers.”

The Israeli occupation army is committing complex crimes by targeting humanitarian relief workers and personnel ensuring the distribution of food and health supplies in the Gaza Strip, even though they have no connection to any governmental, security, or factional structures, the statement added.

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor condemned the “Israeli” attack that directly targeted a convoy belonging to the “ANERA” organization and caused the death of four members of a local protection team in the Gaza Strip.

The Monitor called on the international community to express decisive and serious positions and demand investigation and accountability for this crime, similar to the strong positions following the Israeli bombing of the World Central Kitchen (WCK) convoy months ago.
