The Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America, Rima bint Bandar Al Saud, attended the “American Middle East Dialogue Summit” in Washington, DC, in which a number of senior Israeli officials participated.
“The Times of Israel” newspaper reported on Monday that the Saudi ambassador delivered an “inspirational” speech at the summit in which the Moroccan and Bahraini ambassadors to the United States participated.
According to the Hebrew newspaper, the content and photos of the session are currently prohibited from being published, despite Israeli media praising the Saudi ambassador’s speech.
Hebrew media quoted a “senior Israeli official,” speculating about “the possibility of concluding a normalization deal between Saudi Arabia and Israel during the period between the start of the US elections in November and the inauguration of the new American president on January 20,” emphasizing that this “requires a ceasefire in Gaza, and a vision regarding resolving the Palestinian issue.”
