The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) revealed details regarding the locations targeted in the occupied Palestinian territories, stating that these strikes were a direct response to the assassinations of martyrs Ismail Haniyeh, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, and Major General Haj Abbas Nilforoushan.
According to the statement, the IRGC used dozens of ballistic missiles, following a period of restraint after the assassination of martyr Ismail Haniyeh.
“Despite the fact that this region was protected by the most advanced and extensive defense systems, 90% of the strikes successfully hit their targets, and the Zionist regime has been terrified by the intelligence and operational capabilities of the Islamic Republic,” the statement read.
The statement indicated that the IRGC targeted three military bases in Nevatim, which house F-35 aircraft, and Netzarim, which houses F-15 aircraft that were used in the assassination attempt on Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, as well as the Tel Nof base near Tel Aviv.
Additionally, radar systems in the defensive networks directing Arrow 2 and Arrow 3 missiles were also targeted, the statement read.
In the meantime, the Israeli news outlet “Walla” reported that the Iranian strikes disrupted train services in Israel.
This was confirmed by a Hezbollah leader in a statement to Al Jazeera, who pointed out that the majority of the bases targeted in Israel, especially the air bases, were struck directly.
He also mentioned that the scale of the Israeli missile interceptions was weak
