President Mahdi Al-Mashat of Yemen has expressed strong support for the Islamic Republic of Iran following its missile strikes on key Israeli military and security targets within the occupied territories.
The Iranian attack, which involved dozens of ballistic missiles, was hailed by Al-Mashat as a legitimate act of self-defense in response to Israeli aggression.
In a statement, President Al-Mashat declared, “This operation is justified as a means of self-defense and a necessary measure to discipline the criminal Israeli entity.” He affirmed Yemen’s solidarity with Iran, stressing that Tehran has every right to defend itself against Israeli provocations.
Al-Mashat also issued a stark warning to the United States, cautioning against any interference in the situation. “We warn the Americans not to play with fire. Israeli crimes must not go unpunished,” he said, adding that Yemen is prepared to retaliate if the U.S. makes any rash decisions. “We are ready to deter the Americans if they decide to make any foolish moves.”
The Yemeni leader emphasized that neither Israel nor the U.S. would be allowed to isolate or target any part of the Arab and Islamic world, signaling continued resistance against foreign intervention in the region.
