Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez urged European Union (EU) member states to suspend the free trade agreement between the bloc and “Israel” against the backdrop of the actions committed by Tel Aviv in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
The British “Sky News” channel reported on Monday that Spain and Ireland have been holding talks for months with the rest of the other EU countries regarding reviewing the association agreement between the Union and “Israel” on the basis that the Israeli entity violated the human rights clause in the agreement.
This comes at a time when Irish Foreign Minister Michael Martin accused “Israel” of trying to prevent the world from seeing what its soldiers are doing in Lebanon and Gaza
