Yemeni Armed Forces carry out strikes on three Israel-linked ships in Arabian Sea and Red Sea

The Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out three military operations targeting three Israel-linked ships in the Arabian Sea and Red Sea, in support of the oppressed peoples in Palestine and Lebanon and in support of the resistance in the two countries.

The armed forces spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, confirmed in a televised statement on Monday evening that the three military operations were part of the continuation of imposing a naval blockade on the Israeli enemy.

He explained that the first operation targeted the ship “SC MONTREAL” southern Arabian Sea with two drones and the hit was accurate.

“The second operation targeted the ship (MAERSK KOWLOON) in the Arabian Sea. The operation was carried out with a cruise missile, achieving a direct hit.”

Sare’e added that the third operation was carried out by the naval forces and the missile force, targeting the ship (MOTARO) in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab with a number of ballistic missiles, and the strikes were accurate and direct.

“The three ships were targeted because the companies they belong to violated the ban on sailing to Israeli ports,” he elaborated.

“The Yemeni Armed Forces, while saluting the victories of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, confirm their continuation in imposing a naval blockade on the Israeli enemy and targeting all ships linked to it, as well as targeting the Israeli enemy with missiles and drones,” the statement read.

The statement stressed that “the operations will continue until the aggression is stopped, the blockade on the Gaza Strip is lifted, and the aggression on Lebanon is stopped.”
