Turkish protesters demand cessation of trade with Zionist entity

Activists from Turkish youth groups and organizations demonstrated on Saturday in Istanbul in front of the port of Avcılar, demanding that their country stop all forms of trade with the Israeli occupation.

The protesters denounced the continued activity of the Israeli company “ZIM” through Turkish ports, whose ships were recently documented by activists in the port of Haydarpasa, heading towards Haifa in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The demonstrators demanded that the Turkish government completely cut off trade with the Israeli occupation.

Activists considered that the continued activity of the Israeli company ZIM in Turkey reflects undeclared commercial relations, according to the demonstrators.

The protesters stressed that these dealings constitute a violation of the demands of the Turkish street, which rejects all forms of cooperation with the occupation.
