Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, dared the US to allow live broadcasts from the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, following reports that it had been targeted by Yemeni forces.
“I challenge the US to allow live media coverage from the USS Abraham Lincoln to disprove its claims regarding the carrier, Mohammed Al-Houthi said in a post on the social media platform “X”.

He emphasized that Yemen’s military operations are official and publicly announced . They are not secret leaks as the US has portrayed.
Al-Houthi also criticized recent US actions, accusing Washington of spreading false rumors about halting Yemen’s operations and the passage of a military vessel to the Zionist entity.
He pointed out that these claims were part of a broader disinformation campaign.
