The UAE occupation’s intelligence representative, Khalfan Al-Mazrouei, returned on Thursday to Yemen’s Socotra archipelago province after months of absence.
Media sources loyal to the Saudi-led coalition reported that Al-Mazrouei would open an Emirati financial bank in Socotra, a move that coincides with a wider Emirati expansion operation on the island’s lands.
This comes following an armed uprising by UAE-funded factions in April.
