The Zionist entity is pushing to pass a proposed law that prevents the raising of the Palestinian flag in Israeli universities and institutions supported by the entity’s government.
The Hebrew broadcasting authority said on Thursday, “The law will apply to institutions funded by the state budget, including universities, and will allow the imposition of a fine of about 10,000 new shekels ($2,700) and imprisonment for up to a year.”
The broadcasting authority stated that the Ministerial Committee for Legislation Affairs in the Knesset (Israeli Parliament) would discuss the proposed law in its next session, Sunday.
It said, “The proposed law stipulates a ban on raising the flags of a hostile country, including the Palestinian flag, in bodies included in the official budget or supported by the government.”
