Millions of Yemeni people took to the streets on Friday in al-Sabeen Square, the largest square in the Yemeni capital Sanaa, and other Yemeni provinces, in support for the Palestinian people and their resistance in Gaza, under the slogan “With Gaza to Victory, and Lebanon’s Triumph; Down with Occupation.”
A statement was issued by the rallies, congratulated “Hezbollah and the Lebanese people on the historic victory achieved by the grace of Allah.”
It added that “Hezbollah has added a new historic victory to its record of achievements, which serves as a prelude to the greater victory over the axis of evil.”
The statement affirmed Yemen’s readiness to intensify military and social efforts to support the Palestinian people, promising to double their efforts.
“To the Palestinian people, we reiterate: You are not alone. We stand with you until victory, God willing.”
On the 57th anniversary of independence from the British after 129 years of occupation, they congratulated the Yemeni people. “To every occupier, we say: Your inevitable fate is demise, no matter how long your occupation lasts or how great your power may be.”
At the end of the statement, they reminded the Ummah that their “brothers in Palestine continue to face genocide at the hands of the Zionists for the second consecutive year,” warning about “Israel’s” plans for the region, the statement concluded.
