Eight Palestinian were killed and five others were injured due to the ongoing Israeli aggression on Tulkarm in the northern West Bank since Tuesday midnight.
The Ministry of Health reported in a brief statement that four Palestinians were killed and five others, including one seriously, were wounded and brought to Tulkarem Government Hospital following the Israeli shelling of the Tulkarem refugee camp.
This marks the second drone strike on the Al-Hammam neighborhood today as part of the ongoing Israeli onslaught on Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps.
The earlier strike claimed the lives of two women, Khawla Ali Abdullah, 53, and Bara’a Khaled Hussein Sheikh Ali, 30. A young youth, identified as Fathi Said Salem Obaid,18, was also killed after being shot by Israeli soldiers in the chest and abdomen during the ongoing onslaught.
Earlier on Tuesday evening, a Palestinian woman succumbed to critical wounds she sustained at dawn today following the drone strike that targeted a house in the Al-Hamam neighborhood of the camp. Several others were injured in the drone attack at dawn, including a ten-year-old child.
The number of Palestinians killed in Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps today has risen to eight, seven of whom were killed by Israeli fire and drone strikes in the Al-Hamam neighborhood of Tulkarem refugee camp.
At dawn today, Israeli forces launched a major military incursion into the Tulkarem area, targeting the densely populated Tulkarem refugee camp. The attack resulted in multiple casualties and widespread destruction of homes, businesses and infrastructure. The onslaught also included the use of drones to target civilian areas, exacerbating the already dire humanitarian situation.
