The Yemeni Armed Forces in Sana’a announced the downing of an American “MQ-9” aircraft while conducting hostile missions in the airspace of Al-Bayda province .
The Yemeni Armed Forces said in a statement that this is the thirteenth plane of its type that the Yemeni Armed Forces have succeeded in shooting down during the Battle of the Promised Victory and the Holy Jihad in support of Gaza.
The aircraft was shot down with a locally-made surface-to-air missile, according to the statement.
The Yemeni Armed Forces confirm their continuation in confronting all attempts by the enemies to undermine the sovereignty of our country and that they are continuing their operations in support of Gaza, and that these operations will not stop until the aggression on Gaza stops and the siege is lifted, the statement stressed.
